Delete your account
Your membership is the part we hold. Striking it off takes four taps in the app — and if the app is already gone, the form below does it for you.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately — no waiting on us.
- Open Private Reserve and go to the Parlor.
- Tap your member avatar in the top right to open the Account sheet.
- Under The Ledger, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with Delete account.
The Account sheet is also reachable from the Palate tab. Deleting signs you out and clears your member name from the device.
If you no longer have the app
Tell us the address on the membership and we'll do it for you. Nothing here is published, shared, or added to any list — the request goes straight into a queue only we can read.
What deletion removes
Everything the membership touches on our side, permanently and without a recovery window:
- Your membership record — the Apple identifier you signed in with, your email or Apple private-relay address, and your member name.
- Any speakeasy you opened. The room closes for everyone in it, along with its bar conversation.
- Your seat in every speakeasy you joined, and the member name shown to those rooms.
- Every verdict you pinned and every message you posted at the bar.
- The daily counters that meter the app's AI features against your account.
What stays
Your cellar. Bottles, tasting notes, photos, prices, and your palate profile are stored on your phone and never reached us, so deleting the account cannot touch them — they stay yours. To erase those too, delete the app from your device.
Anonymous label corrections. If you turned on the setting that shares corrections when autofill reads a bottle wrong, those records carry no link back to you — no identifier, no cellar, no name. Because nothing connects them to your account, they can't be traced to you and can't be pulled back out.
The waitlist, if you joined it here. The email you gave this website is a separate list from your membership and isn't removed by deleting your account. Say so in the form above and it goes too.
Backups, briefly. Our database is backed up on a rolling schedule, so an encrypted copy of a deleted membership can persist in those backups for a short period before it rotates out. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. A request filed here is completed within 30 days — usually far sooner — and we email you at that address to confirm when it's done.
